Time for Phil Neville to hand over the captain's armband at Everton
He did a great job when he first joined the club, but the former Manchester United defender just lacks that "get up and go" spirit.

Players who disappoint have not been too hard to find over the last 15 years at Everton, and as an Evertonian that is not as easy thing to admit. But to be fair to the current Everton Squad, the number of major disappointments has dwindled to a trickle.
David Moyes, like most managers, has his blue eyed boys and I have often wondered how some of them make the team, and this season has been no exception. We now have a squad that on its day (and injuries at a minimum) can give most teams a game, as every one of this season's top four would verify.
We have been found wanting at times in numbers for several reasons, but we have always given teams a game and some might say we have been unlucky in some of our bigger games.
Last weekend at Arsenal was a perfect example. We played Arsenal at their own game and pretty much bossed the first half, and more than matched them in the second, but ultimately they took there chance and we didn't take any of ours.

Yeh I couldnt agree more about Neville as I have said the same thing a few times. When we need him to stand up he goes quiet... He has been a great player for Everton in previous years but this year has found him wanting but you can bet that as long as he is there Moyes will start him, whether it be in the middle or RB.
